Does the saver pass allow for multiple stops on a single day and be counted a 1 day on a 4 day saver pass? For example, I will go from Rome to Milano with a stop at Parma; does this count as 2 days or 1 day on the 4 day saver pass?
How do we get these questions? Of course, a rail pass is for unlimited travel for that entire day in the countries indicated on the pass. Note: some trains (Thalys, Italian Eurostar) might be considered "premium trains" for which the pass does not completely cover the fare and a supplement is required. Because these trains can only be used with a seat reservation, which is included in the full fare ticket, this supplement is sometimes referred to as a "reservation fee".
Travel is unlimited on the day you choose to travel. Most likely, you will be on nice high-speeds between the 3 cities. There will be a 10E supplemental fee for each different high-speed that you will be on. You will have to pay this fee before you board the trains.
