Will the train ride from Stockholm C to Copenhagen, mentioned in RS Best of Scandinavia tour, be provided by SJ or Snälltåget?
The SJ ride will be faster as it will be on a high speed X2000 train but requires a change (either at Lund C or Hässleholm C) to slower regional train. The Snälltåget will be on older coaches but require no train change but take longer time. Thanks!
Most journeys require a connection, a few are non-stop. There are lots of possible
connections, if you look at the website, it just depends. My connection was in
Alvesta, for example.
Not sure what you're trying to optimize here. Fares and length of journey are clearly
spelled out online, although I do recall some slight fare differences between the sj.se
and Snalltaget sites for the same trains.
@shoeflyer:
Not trying to optimize anything. I might be taking the tour and just wondering which train service the tour chooses to use. Personally I would prefer the faster option; i.e. riding the more speedier X2000 high speed train and put up with the connection.
