Anybody know which train I would take to get from Rome to Sienna? Its going to be my first trip to Italy and I want to plan everything as best as I can. Thanks!
There are two ways to get from Rome to Sienna. Train or bus. Since you mentioned the Leonardo express, this train runs from the airport to Rome Termini station. From Rome Termini, you again have two choices. First, take a slower IC train from Rome to Chiusi. From Chiusi to Siena will either be by bus or train. Trip takes 3.1hrs. Note that most Eurostars out of Rome towards Florence are non-stop so they don't stop at Chiusi. The slower IC and R trains do. Second, you can take the high speed to Florence and then transfer to a train back down to Siena. Oddly, the trip time is the same.

The next choice is by bus. I believe that there is bus service from the Rome Tiburtina train station to Siena. Check out www.sena.it for schedules.
Patricia,
Use http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html to plan the trip. At the airport train station you can buy tickets to Rome (termini) and tickets from Rome to Siena. Just take the train that transfers at Chiusi to Siena. It makes no sense to pay Eurostar prices for a trip that can be done faster on an IC train.
