10 euro pp, and you do this at the station. I hope you find a railway clerk that knows what an Eurail pass is.

Note that a ticket for Milan - Sanremo is only 19,90 when booked in advance...

I made my reservations with the vendor who sold me the pass before leaving home.

At the station before departure. Just go to a ticket window and ask for a reservation, if they ask for a ticket show them your pass.

I highly recommend the the Eurail app, it lists the timetables, the reservation requirements and how to get one.

The problem is that since in countries like Italy and France there are no longer any "reservation optional" trains many ticket clerks don't even know how to make reservation-only bookings, and will just throw their hands in the air, and tell you it is impossible...

Which is why you shouldn't get an Eurail Pass for Italy. In France at least you can still do it using the ticket machines, once you have found where they have hidden the option...

I do this at the train station, most of the time using a Eurail Senior Global Pass. This is a day or week or so before the scheduled ride for which I want to reserve or must reserve a seat.

My experiences do not pertain to Italy, only in Germany , France, and Austria.
