Train Reservations from Paris to Rennes

Do i need to make reservations in advance for this leg. Or can i just show up and get the reservation when i get to the station. I don't want to plan the way out or way back with a time table. thanks

There is direct TGV service from Paris to Rennes at least once an hour throughout the day. The trip takes about two hours. You can just show up and buy a ticket. Seat reservations are required on TGVs, but they are included in the price of the ticket.
