CLICK HERE to see a list of domestic trains in Europe that charge a supplemental fee of some kind to ride. This list comes from the site where you purchased your pass. You can ride the local trains is these countries at no extra cost but they are not the premium trains.

You can buy reservations at www.raileurope.com and I think www.euraide.com.

Thanks again Larry so I paid $1108.00 for the 5 day 3 country pass for 2 adults and 2 children 1st class.
The reservations for 3 days of the trip come to$332.00 . I am quite shocked but from what I understand it may be best to reserve a seat. The reservations are Paris to Interlaken (I was sold on your quote "Swiss Alps on Steroids" will be sleeping 2 nights now in Lauterbrunnen). Next reservation is Interlaken to Venice and then Venice to Rome.
Does the fees for reservations sound the best and necessary?
Thanks,
Giovanna
