Ok, I'm hesitating paying the shipping fee to make reservations on Raileurope.com. I am taking the overnight train from Vienna to Venice in May. I should be able to reserve it from the station in Munich the week before, right? Thanks!

A seat, you might be able to reserve in Munich. A compartment, highly unlikely.
