The TGV from Perpignan connects at Figueres, Spain for Barcelona. There are only 16 or 22 minutes to transfer depending on the train. Has anyone done that trip, and is there enough time to make the transfer?

I have done that trip in the opposite direction. Figueres is a very small station and you will have plenty of time to change trains.

At Figures-Vilifant, you change from the French TGV trains to the Spanish Renfe trains. For us, it all took place on the same platform. We were coming from Barcelona and when we got off the Renfe train, the French TGV train was there waiting for us on the opposite side of the same platform. 50 feet and we were on the TGV. No stairs. You won't have any difficulty.
