Help me please. I will be going to Le MSM from Paris no problems there but from there I need to get to Laval. My final destination is
Rocamadour . I've been on the sncf website but it won't let me make the reservations. It shows the route I need to take is through Rennes in order to get on track to pick up a car rental in Laval and continue on to Rocamadour. there is train station in Pontorson but it seems t be a mystery as to how to make a reservation to get Renne or Laval. Can you help

Are the trains TER local services? If so, reservations are not available and there aren't usually discounts for advanced purchase. Just book the tickets when you get there.

voyages-sncf.com shows two routes: 1. Pontorson to Rennes on a TER (regional train) and Rennes to Laval on a TGV. 2. Mont-Saint-Michel to Rennes on a highway bus operated by SNCF and Rennes to Laval on a TGV. What is your travel date? The regional train doesn't operate beyond 7 October. If you book route #1 well in advance (up to three months allowed), you can get a discount fare as low as €19.70. The standard 2nd class fare is €30.40.
