Train Oslo to Bergen but stopping for a few days

We are planning to get off the train from Oslo in Myrdal, spend a few days in Balestrand, then continue back via ferry to Gudvangen, bus to Voss then get on the train from Voss to Bergen.

Do I need to buy two separate tickets for the train (much more expensive) or can I get a single ticket from Oslo to Bergen (minipris is available) then just use it again when we get back on in Voss. The rail website is not clear.

Thanks.

You have to buy separate tickets, as the Oslo to Bergen (Myrdal) train requires reservations for a specific date and time. It might be cheaper to purchase a reserved ticket to Bergen even if you're not going the entire way....I think there are local trains that run between Voss and Bergen that don't require reservations. The Norway Rail site should indicate that.
