I am wondering about flying between Paris to Prague and what airlines to even start with to check flights out and compare to rail travel time. Any ideas?

According to the search engine skyscanner.com, your budget airline choices for non-stop flights are easyJet and Smart Wings. You'll have more departure times from which to choose if you fly Czech Airlines, but you'll pay more. And you'll pay a whole lot more if you fly Air France.

To find flights, use http://www.skyscanner.com as Tim said. If the one-way fare on Czech Air or Air France is too high, try a round trip ticket. You can then throw away the second part; don't throw away the first part, or the airline will cancel the rest of the ticket.
