We will be flying in to Fiumoncino airport, Rome and need to get to Grosseto. Any suggestions?

Martin, The method I'd use would be to take the Leonardo Express to Roma Termini and then connect with a train to Grosseto. There's also a train that connects the airport with Roma Trastevere rather than Termini, and in that case you wouldn't be using the Leonardo Express. Total travel time will be about 2H:30M, depending on which train you connect with. Whichever train you use, BE SURE to validate your tickets prior to boarding the train or you'll risk hefty fines! Check the Trenitalia website to see the rail trips that will be departing FCO shortly after your flight arrival time. Happy travels!

Than you for your help. Do you have any idea how often the trains go to
Grosseto?

There are one to two trains every hour from Rome to Grosseto. Travel time ranges from 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on type of train (Freccia trains are faster than Regional trains, since they make fewer stops). Prices increase with speed, but overall they are cheap (under 15 euro).
Check the timetable and prices in the trenitalia website below. But no need to pre purchase on line. You can purchase at the Fiumicino airport station. www.trenitalia.com
