Which Montserrat? There are several in Spain including one near Barcelona and one near Valencia.

I am talkin about Montserrat about 1 hour from Barcelona with the sanctuary on the top of the mountain.Anna

You can leave Barcelona Sants by train as late as 21:00, arriving at Madrid-Puerta de Atocha at 23:57. See the timetables at www.bahn.de/international/view/en/index.shtml.
