since nurnberg and berlin belong to 2 different laenders, is my only recourse for cheap train travel the quer-durchs-land-ticket which i understand is a regional train valid for the whole of germany? how much is this tkt for 2 people? also, bacharach to colmar, france is not only different laenders but different countries. there is a train trip that i saw in bahn.de from bacharach to colmar that has 4 stops and takes almost 5 hrs. is this the most efficient and economical way? thanks.
