I'm hoping someone can help me find information on the work being done on the train line between Tours and Chinon. I've searched the internet but can't seem to find a site that will tell me any details about "the works". Right now the train is being replaced with a bus. I'm not traveling until November, but it looks like the dates I'm looking at (Nov. 6 and Nov. 7) are also only showing a bus.
What I'd like to find out is when this work is scheduled go be complete. I will be taking a day trip from Tours to both Chinon and Azay-le-Rideau, and since they are on the same train line both are affected. If a bus is the only option, that's okay, but since the timetables for the bus and train differ, for planning purposes I'd like to know if the train will even be running at that time. Thanks for any insight you can provide!
