how do i find out the train schedule for this trip? Is there a train station near the airport? and how long will this train ride be?
ALSO looking to find schedule and length of trip for a train trip from Luzern, Switzerland to Frieburg, Germany.

Get schedules at the Swiss Rail site: http://rail.ch There is a train station at the airport terminal. The trip is about 1 hour. There is usually one direct train per hour from the airport to Luzern. In between you can take a train to Zurich main station and transfer there to a Luzern bound train. A side note.....at 11am on Sunday mornings the Zurich Airport Orchestra performs in the rail station/shopping mall section of the terminal. Caught a portion of the concert last month. Their first song was, you guessed it, Come fly With Me :)

The trip from Luzern to Freiburg (note spelling) takes around two hours and requires a minimum of one connection in Basel. Get timetables on either the Swiss Rail site or the German Rail site.

The train station is IN the Zurich. Look for the signs (a little train picture/icon) in the "arrivals" area after you exit customs. Make sure you buy tickets before you get on the train.

Be careful when looking up or making reservations for Freiburg. There are two - Freiburg im Breisgau in the Black Forest and Freiburg on a lake in Switzerland. There is also a Friedberg in Augsburg. Spelling counts in those circumstances.
