Train from Venice to Paris???

Hello! What is the best train from Venice to Paris? We are traveling in the afternoon and want to stop off some where possibly in between and spent the night and get back on the train and get off in Paris. Any suggestions? Do any of the trains stop along the way for us to at least explore another city?

You can find the schedules here:
