Hello! My trip from Venice to Lucerne has two separate tickets when I booked it through italiarail. The leg from Venice to Milan is e-ticket; the second leg from Milan to Lucerne requires that I print the ticket (via the PNR#) at a self service ticket machine at the station. We don't have much time to transfer in Milan and I am worried about trying to get the ticket printed. Is it possible to print the ticket at the Venice train station at their self service machine or does it have to be printed in Milan? Thank you.

Good question which I cannot answer. However the reason for the printed ticket from Milan is that it is international into Switzerland and their computers do not speak Italian so you need the printed document. I certainly would try the ticket office in Venice. But go to a live person. Sometimes there will be a ticket office tagged International. So go there.

Hi Carol. The ticket can be printed at your convenience at any train station in Italy. Enjoy your trip!
