Have heard it is very complicated to make trip from Toulouse to Barcelona by train? French and Spanish tracks do not "match up" - need to change trains, take bus from one track to other? Difficult if I don't speak French or Spanish? Please advise time of departures from Toulouse train station to Barcelona, approx length of time to travel and any other helpful how to's. Thank you so much!!

You will need to change trains at Narbonne, and then at either Portbou, or both Perpignan and Figueres depending on what route you take. There shouldn't be any need to take buses between stations. I would check times and book tickets at www.tgv-europe.com - say you live in the UK to avoid being redirected to Rail Europe. The trip will probably take most of a day.
