Train from Rome to Venice, then to Turin and back to Rome

I have looked at several websites but I can't find one that I understand.
I will be traveling to Rome in April and I don't know if I should just wait until we get there to buy our train tickets? I would like to take the Eurostar high speed trains to these destinations but I can't find a reliable place to see prices, locations and routes for high speed trains to these places. Any help I could get would be greatly appreciated.

During my last 2 trips in Italy, I purchased tickets as I went. I printed out the train schedules in advance and took them with me. I found a TI and purchased tickets for the next day, it's easy and allows you to be flexible. It chews up a little time, but I see it as an adventure. I traveled in May one time and June the other, there was no trouble getting seats.

Buy your tickets when you get to Rome. That will give you several days lead time, even for your first ride to Venice, so you should have no problem booking the trains of your choice.

There is hourly service on EuroStar Italia trains from Rome to Venice.

For Venice-Turin you will need to make a minimum of one connection. Depending upon your departure time, both legs might be on EuroStar Italia trains or one leg might be on an InterCity train.

For Turin-Rome which train you'll be on depends upon the departure time you choose. You can travel directly on either EuroStar Italia trains or InterCity trains.

When you check the Tremitalia site for timetables and fares, use the Italian spelling for each city: Roma for Rome, Venezia for Venice, and Torino for Turin. Venice has two train stations, Mestre on the mainland and Santa Lucia in Venice itself. You want Venezia Santa Lucia.

I am not sure if you are talking about train tickets or just seat reservations on the Eurostar. Those are two different things. If you are traveling much at all by train you should get a Eurail Pass. It will save you a lot of money. But you have to buy them in the US, cannot buy them in Europe.
