Which week? What day? Tomorrow - nope, not without changing. I assume that Starsbourg is Strasbourg, France.

Yes, there are a couple - one is even direct. Go to tgv-europe.com to purchase a lower-priced advance fare, if you are able to commit this early. Instead of typing 'Paris' as your departure city, start typing 'CDG'; it will show you some options...just pick 'TGV2' or whatever the choice is for Terminal 2 (where the TGV train station is). Choose 'Great Britain' as your 'ticket collection country' (to keep from being sent to the 'RailEurope' site), then on the next page click on the 'continue on to tgv-europe' button. Don't go to RailEurope. Also, look at bahn.com for other choices...you can't purchase French tickets from the German website, but you can look at the schedules. I wasn't sure what "late afternoon" meant, but these 'non-RER' trains depart starting at nearly 19:00. I've included a CDG terminal map, in case you find it handy. Also, if this is new to you, please check out the Paris By Train website - there are lots of great photos, so it's as if you're walking through the airport and looking at the signs as you walk. Things will look familiar to you when you're actually there! http://www.tgv-europe.com/en/?DISTRIBUTED_COUNTRY=GB http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/en-GB/Passagers/Access-maps-car-parks/Paris-CDG/maps/ http://www.bahn.com/i/view/overseas/en/index.shtml http://parisbytrain.com/paris-airport-terminal-2-train-photo-tour/

Just to get an idea of the schedules, try booking a train from CDG through to Karlsruhe/Stuttgart on bahn.de. It'll show the trains go through Strasbourg, then you'll have a better idea of when the trains actually run. The bahn.de website is indeed better than the SNCF.
