Train from Paris to Luxembourg City

We'd like to take the train roundtrip from Paris to Luxembourg for a couple of days. 1) Which station do we need to use in Paris and 2) Any advice regarding this trip would be appreciated. I haven't seen much out there on the subject!

Thank you!

Direct TGVs to Luxembourg City depart from Gare de l'Est. The trip takes just over two hours. See the timetables at www.bahn.de. Click on the drop-down flag menu for English.

The standard 2nd class fare is €70 each way. However, if you book well in advance (up to three months allowed) at www.tgv-europe.com, you can get a Prem's fare as low as €25. Those tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. To keep the site in English and to avoid being bumped to the Rail Europe site which doesn't offer discount fares, choose Great Britain as both your country of residence and the country in which you will retrieve your tickets. If you get a Prem's fare, you print the tickets yourself. For any other fare you can pick up your tickets at any SNCF station or boutique (ticket shop) in France, even though you originally chose Great Britain.
