I will be traveling from Paris to Interlaken this summer. Does anyone have any advice on the best route? I've seen suggestions for going through either Basel or Bern. Travel time for either is similar, so I would prefer the more scenic route. If it makes a difference, I will be purchasing a separate ticket from France to Switzerland, and then using the Swiss pass for the Swiss leg.

Basel is best as there are direct trains from there to Interlaken. There really isn't any scenic route, trains from Basel to Interlaken pass through Bern anyways. Purchase your TGV tickets in advance (90 days allowed) at http://tgv-europe.com. Tell the site you like in the UK so you can print your tickets out at home.
