How do you get from the Mercedes museum to the porsche museum. How far are they from one another? Also..can you get to Bacharach from Stuttgart without going thru Frankfurt?

By S-Bahn, walk 1/2 mile to Neckarplatz station, S1 to Hbf, change to S6 to Neuwirthaus(Porscheplatz). 31 minutes train and transfer time. Almost all connections to Bacharach pass through Mannheim and Mainz, bypassing Frankfurt.

We did the two museums in one day. Most convenient and quickest way for us was to take a taxi.
