hi there i am looking to get from itlay to barcelona and would preferably like to take a train?? im no sure where to look just to make sure it is possible ahead of time. it doesnt really matter where it leaves from but i would like to get right into barcelona. thanks in advance!

CLICK HERE to see a train on the Italian website. The train departs Genoa at 7:12pm for Torino where you change trains in Torino for a couple of stops and then change trains again at the Torino Porta Susa station. This last change is to a night train departing at 9:18pm from Torino and arriving in Barcelona at 9:01am the next day. It's a 14hr. journey. Standard fare is shown as 138.70Euro.
As Kent mentioned above, look into a flight. Inexpensive airlines EasyJet and Vueling both have flights from Milan-Malpensa to Barcelona. I don't know when you intend to make this trip but I see fares as low as 46Euro on Vueling for late July.
