Train from Florence to Rome Termini?

We were trying to book a train from Florence to Rome Termini station for 3 adults Sept. 16th. Here's our dilemma: 1) RailEurope has trips from Florence to Rome at the Termini Station, which is what we want, but there is no USA country code on the website, so we can't book it. 2) We see a RailEurope site for US passengers, but those trips only go into Tiburtina and Ostiense stations. Any suggestions on how we can book a train from Florence into Rome Termini station, which is within walking distance to our hotel. Thanks for your help,
Louie

Louie, why are you looking at the RailEurope website? They're a ticket broker. Why not look at www.trenitalia.com. This is the real train website for most of Italy. There are 50+ high-speed runs per day from Florence to Rome-Termini. Most are 1hr 35min non-stops. Here's a sample link to what you can see on Sept 16. There are lots more runs. http://gyazo.com/6b371b19845dffb326dffc80b2168bb2 Tons of train runs. Just register on the website, sign-on and book the run you want. As you can see, there are still some 19Euro super economy fares left for this date. These tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Ordinary standard 2nd class fare is 43Euro.

Don't use RailEurope; they have a mark-up. Use the Italian version of the Trenitalia.com site, and click the grey 'Tutti treni' (all trains) tab inside the red area on the left. If you encounter problems using the site, which some people find a little quirky, come back here and ask for help again. Use Google Translate for help deciphering any Italian you can't figure out. Also, be sure to use Italian city names. You want to go from Firenze S. M. Novella to Roma Termini. Be careful what you put in the 'Ora' (hour) field - it's a 24-hour clock, so 9 means 9:00 AM and 13 means 1:00 PM, etc. Leave 'Ricerca il miglior prezzo' UNchecked.

Why use the Italian version of the website? Just press the English button. Still, with the English version, you do have to enter the Italian name of the train station. Not too difficult.
