Air Berlin flies direct from Miami to Düsseldorf. Has anyone done this? We used to fly Martin Air, now KLM to Amsterdam, but AirBerlin was less, and a shorter drive to Italy. Also, we have to pick up the Peugot leased car in Frankfurt. There is a train; has anyone taken that train? Thank you

On the DB website, I'm seeing at least two trains each hour from the Düsseldord airport to the Frankfurt airport. All involve at least one change at the main station in Düsseldorf. Travel times vary from 90 minutes to 3 hours.
