Could anyone give me some help in determining if we can take a train from Cologne to Metz (where we would be picking up a rental car). I've tried various train sites but am not successful in getting anything. Thanking you in advance. Natalie (Vancouver, B.C.)

The link Russ cited is the one I always use.
Also, "Koln" is actually Köln; "Koeln" will also work, as will "Cologne". Be careful! Those little dots (umlaut) over the letter aren't just decoration; they mean something. If there is any place in Germany spelled Koln (without the umlaut), you will get it instead of Köln. This is also true of Füssen. Use Fuessen instead of Fussen.
