Train from Cinque Terre to Rome

It looks like there is a slower coastal train from cinque terre to Rome... My question is can you really see the coast and is it worth traveling on a slower train to Rome? We would like to take that route if the scenery is worth it.

Sara if you are talking about the regional train,
then the answer is no you can't really see anything scenic at all. We took this train because for an hour or so more, it was cheaper.
