We’re arriving in Charles de Gaulle in September but need to take the train to Dijon. Can I connect at the airport or do I have to go to the Gare de Lyon?
You can use the official train website to search originating stations and destinations: https://www.sncf-connect.com/app/en-en/home/search
It looks like there are multiple trains from CDG daily, requiring at least one connection.
You can go from the airport to Lyon. https://www.sncf-connect.com
The OP wants to go to Dijon, so should ignore suggestions to go to Lyon in stead....
There are no direct trains from CDG to Dijon, so you do have to go to Gare de Lyon first. Allow preferably 4 hours between plane landing and train departure time. 3.5 hours can do if needed, especially on Sat or Sun (less traffic).
Thank you for all the replies. After looking at the schedules and the costs, it makes more sense for us to leave from the Gare de Lyon. Since we’ll be tired from our flight we’ve decided to spend the night in Paris and take the train the following day. Our barge trip doesn’t start until 4:30 pm the following day anyway so we’ll be more rested. Thanks again.
