What is the best way to get from the Civitavecchia train station to the Civitavecchia port to join a cruise ship? If you know the cost and how much time to plan, it would be helpful. thank you
This is a very frequently asked question. Put it in the search box and you will find dozens of responses. See roninrome.com for a very detailed description. It is basicly a commuter run - 3 to 4 trains an hour taking 45 mins to 1.15 depending on the train. Cost will range from about 8€ to 12€ depending on the train.
It is a ten minute walk from the Civitavecchia train station to the port shuttle bus stop. Not much fun carrying a heavy suitcase, next time I will have rolling luggage. Turn right out of the station, keep the sea on your left, and you will find your way there.
