Train from Brussels to Switzerland

I'm doing some backpacking in Europe this summer with my girlfriend and I'm trying to figure out the best way to get from Brussels to Switzerland overnight (anywhere in the country, whatever is the easiest). I was thinking of doing a EuroRail Pass because I will be visiting a few countries so that seems to be the cheapest and most efficient way of transportation; however, I can't seem to find an overnight train from Brussels to Switzerland. Does anyone have a good way to do this through the EuroRail? Or any other suggestions?

And by the way, my itinerary is starting in Amsterdam, then Bruges/Brussels, Switzerland, Nice, Barcelona.

I don't think there are any night trains from Brussels to Switzerland. There are three or so trains a day from Brussels to Basel via Luxembourg and Strasbourg, one of which continues to Zurich and one to Chur. They take a long time though as there are no high-speed sections along the routes, but there's some nice scenery as you pass through the Belgian Ardennes, Luxembourg and Alsace. You could stop off in Alsace for a day or two.

There is a direct City Nightline train from Amsterdam to Basel/Zurich. Amsterdam is three hours from Brussels by train. http://www.citynightline.ch There is also a direct night train from Barcelona to Geneva/Zurich during the summer months.
