Hello!

Is there a site where I can find the approximate price of a ticket from Brussels, Belgium to Cambridge, England and back again?

Thank you!!!

I don't think there's a way of getting a combined ticket. Eurostar from Brussels to London is £59 return. You can then walk from St Pancras to the neighbouring King's Cross station for trains to Cambridge, see www.nationalexpresseastcoast.co.uk for details. The non-advance return fare to Cambridge is about £38 but cheaper fares may be available depending on when you want to go.

Eurostar fares vary depending upon which country you list as your place of residence when you register at www.eurostar.com, what city you choose as your departure point, and how far in advance you book your tickets. For example, if I register as a resident of the UK, return fares for London-Brussels can be as low as 59 GBP, but the lowest return fare for Brussels-London is 73 GBP. If I register as a resident of Belgium, I can get a Brussels-London return fare as low as 80 EUR (68.50 GBP). If I register as a resident of the USA, I'll pay a good deal more no matter which city I choose as my departure point.

To see this for yourself, you must clear the Eurostar cookies on your Web browser and re-register each time you change your country of residence. You can "pretend" to be a resident of the country which offers the lowest fare when you book.

The cheapest advance return ticket for London-Cambridge is 29 GBP and requires that you travel during off-peak hours. To get it, book on the NXEC site around 60 days in advance. The walk-up fare is 19.10 GBP each way.
