We would like to know the shortest route from Bayeux to La Rochelle. We didn't want to go back to Paris if possible. Leslie

You can go Bayeux - Caen - St-Pierre-des-Corps - Poitiers - La Rochelle, but it's just as fast to go back to Paris. See the timetables on the German Rail site. After you get summary timetables for Bayeux-La Rochelle Ville, click on the arrow to the left of the departure time(s) of your choice to see the connecting points.
