You can take a train from Barcelona to Venice. It will take anywhere from 18-21 hours and include up to 5 changes.
Flying will take just under two hours and it's nonstop.

Vueling is your budget airline choice for Barcelona-Venice. Fares on Iberia can be competitive.

On that route, Iberia codeshares with Vueling. Vueling operates the flights. But, Tim's right...Iberia will charge you more than Vueling for the same flight!!!!
