You can find detailed timetables on the German Rail site. After you get summary timetables for Ancona-Frankfurt, click on the arrow to the left of each departure time to see the connecting points. Some routes include Milano and others don't.

Thanks for your help. I will try German rail. My other option, always supposing that Munich is working, is to try and change my flight from Athens to Munich instead of Frankfurt, and get a train from there. Thanks for the congratulations. Only seen Emma in photos so far!
