Train from Amsterdam to Paris--buy tix in advance?

Hi everyone. My husband and I are planning on traveling from Amsterdam to Paris via the Thalys train. The Thalys site is easy to follow to get time tables, etc., but the reservation page is in Dutch. I've got a Dutch friend who could probably help me translate, but I'm wondering if it's even necessary to buy a ticket in advance, or should we just wait til we are there? Thanks in advance for your help!

Clear the cookies in your browser and go back to www.thalys.com. When the site asks you where you live and/or where you are picking up your tickets, say "France". After that the site will be in english and you will be able to print your tickets at home. For the best deals you should purchase way in advance.

If you book as far in advance as possible (up to 90 days allowed) at www.thalys.com, you can get a Mini fare of €25. They sell out very fast so book as soon as the "window" opens. The standard 2nd class fare is €105 which is what you would pay if you wait until you get to Amsterdam.

Thanks for your replies. I used the France page and that worked perfectly...much easier than trying to decipher Dutch! Unfortunately there weren't any really cheap fares b/c I'm traveling in 2 weeks, but I did get to take advantage of a summer special they were offering.
