The problem with the discount fares from Frankfut airport to Munich is that they are train specific and non-refundable. If you schedule a train trip close to your arrival time, and the flight is late, you would lose the entire price of your fare. If you allow plenty of time between arrival and a fast train to Munich, you might just have well gone to Munich right after arrival with regional trains and a Bayern-Ticket.

The full fare from FRA to Munich is €89 pP using the fastest ICEs. You can also go via slower ICs for €71. Or, you can go via regional trains with a local ticket to Kahl am Main, the first stop in Bavaria, for €6,95 pP, plus a €28 Bayern-Ticket for 2-5 people. So, for 2 people, ½ of €28= €14 plus €6,75 =<€21 pP.
