One of the shortest trips is a departure from Paris Est at 11:17, arriving Baden Baden at 14:22 (3H:05M, one change at Strasbourg, compulsory reservations required for both trains). When you arrive in Baden Baden, you'll have to use Bus or Taxi to get to town, as the station is a short distance from the centre. I'd suggest a Taxi, as they're able to get past the gates and enter the town, so will be able to take you reasonably close to your hotel. Happy travels!
