Greetings
My wife and I plan on using a train from Venice to Siena, and buses from Siena to Tuscan hill towns in October. Question-what is the best website to use for schedules and reservations and how far ahead should we look to reserve?

The only thing to reserve in advance would be train tickets from Venice to Florence, 120 days in advance. Train from Florence to Siena is a Regionale. It is nonreserved, but you can purchase in advance as a part of the journey Venice to Siena. www.trenitalia.com
