Will the final day of the tour de France race,July 25 impact getting to the CDG airport?
This map shows the route the Tour will take on that day. As you can see, it comes into the city from the S-SW and goes to the Champs-Elysées. The route is nowhere near CDG. The bicyclists don't start until 2:30 PM, well outside the city, and don't get to the Champs-Elysées until about 3:30 PM. However, they will be preceeded by a caravan starting at 12:45 and getting to Champs-Elysées at just before 2 PM.
You should expect more than usual traffic both on the streets and in the Metro and RER. Just don't try to go near the Champs-Elysées.
Perhaps her question had more to do with getting to the RER station in Paris (Gare du Nord). Since it seems all will be well until noon or so, let's hope she will be leaving her hotel much earlier than that.
My point was missed by Steve so I won't belabour it.
I guess I missed your point, too (you did have one?).
She never told us what hotel she is using, so I don't know that she has to go to the RER station at Gare du Nord. There are lots of RER stations in Paris. True, Gare du Nord IS the last major station on the B line on the way to CDG, and the last transfer point, but she could get on the RER-B line at a lot of places (Notre Dame, Denfert Rochereau) and breeze right through Gare du Nord without a change.
