I will be traveling by car through Switzerland and France, and was wondering how steep the toll prices are. I have Google map routes from Interlaken to Grenoble, and it shows several toll highways. Also, from Grenoble to Tours, France shows a lot of tolls. How expensive are they on average?
There are no tolls in Switzerland, but you have to buy a vignette sticker to drive on the roads. Someone with more driving experience in France than I can give you a better estimate of tolls, but I don't recall them being particularly steep.
ViaMichelin will give you an estimate of the tolls. Some are a dollar, some are over $20, depends on where you are, etc. I think the Swiss vignette is 35E.
The Swiss Vignette is CHF40.

Thanks very much for the responses to my questions about tolls, especially in France. I got my answer, and appreciate it much.
