What are best options for a couple for travel from Tirana, Albania, to Thessaloniki, Greece? Air, bus, train, rental car.
Also any side trips to be recommended in Albania?

It appears that there are buses from Tirana to both Athens and Thessalonki.

Albania has no international train lines; they all end at the borders. (Greece doesn't have many, either.) According to my research, no car rental company will let you take a car over these borders for less than $1000.
