We are planning to travel from Vienna to Cesky Krumlov for one night and then on to Prague. There seems to be many transportation options. Has anyone done any of the following or have another idea? Also - any comments on the student agency bus from Cesky Krumlov to Prague?
1) Easiest sounds like a direct shuttle (Shuttle Lobo) but it does not leave Vienna until 12:30 and we'd really like to get to Cesky Krumlov no later than the early afternoon (this would get there around 3:30 - 4:30)
2) Train to Linz and then shuttle (again Shuttle Lobo) from Linz to Cesky Krumlov. This should get us there by about 2:00.
3) Train to Cesky Krumlov from Vienna -- any idea how much this costs? I could find a time table for late September but not the cost.
