Time requirements to catch train after flight arrival in Paris CDG

We will take a train from Paris CDG airport to Germany after we land in the Paris airport. We plan to carry on all of our bags so will not need to wait for luggage to be unloaded from the plane. The train that we will take requires a reservation which we want to make before we leave. My question is: assuming that the flight is on time, how much time will we need between our scheduled arrival time and train departure time? Would 2.5 hours be sufficient at CDG? Thanks.

Ya, 2.5 hours is sufficient. Just make sure the ticket is changeable should the big IF - your plane is on time - not happen.

Tresana - thanks for your quick response. This is very helpful. Of course, we have no way of knowing if the plane will be on time and just have to plan as if it is. We will have a rail pass, so actually traveling if we get delayed won't be an issue, it is just a matter of reservations and possibility of trains being sold out. Thanks again.
