If I arrive from the US at 10 30, is it realistic to catch a domestic flight to Santorini at 12 00? Opinions appreciated....

I would think so provided your flight is reasonably on time. But we have not come to Athens that way. We have used it going out and the airport was fairly typical with min problems.

If you will have checked baggage, you will have to get in line and go through passport control, find your way to baggage claim and retrieve your checked bags, find your way to the domestic departures area, get in line to recheck your bags and get your domestic boarding passes, get in another line and go through security, and find your way to your departure gate. All in 90 minutes - assuming you have deplaned from your US flight exactly at 1030 - which is unlikely. Can it be done? - yes. If it were me, would I want more time? - yes. There are just too many potentially time-consuming variables.
