ticketless booking change with no c.p. code on email for trenitalia

I need to change a booking for three on trenitalia for 2 days later. On my email in the fare details box there is no c.p. code listed, only a PNR code. The c.p. code is required to change online through the website and I have spent much time trying to change the booking. Any suggestions?

The Trenitalia website has a link to an example of a changed tickets with a CP code but of course, the link doesn't work. You can exhange the ticket when you first arrive in Italy at any train station. Hopefully, you have a day or two before you need to use these tickets. Online would be better but...

You should check and see if your ticket states a "mini" fee or a regular fee. If the cp code is missing usually it is due to the fact you got a mini fee ( its a special deal) which usually cannot be changed. I missed my train in Rome for Sorrento and had a "mini" deal. The ticket person told me that it was unchangeable and to get on the train anyway. She said "explain to the conductor what happened and either he will charge you for a new ticket or use the ticket". When I got on the train, the conductor never checked my train ticket(which is very unusual)--needless to say I was relieved. I live in Florence and ride the trains a lot. Good luck.
