My husband and I recently returned from a trip around Denmark and I wanted to post a note here in case others are planning a similar itinerary. We went from Copenhagen to Ærøskøbing in one day and stopped at Roskilde to see the Viking Ship Museum. Just a heads-up that while the guidebook states that we could leave our luggage with the TI in town, unfortunately the TI no longer exists and there was nowhere to store our luggage. Just wanted to let others know to make alternate arrangements in case they plan on stopping in Roskilde with their luggage - the Viking Ship Museum was definitely worth the trip!

I already did - I posted this here so others can use this information before the new version of the guidebook comes out, especially since the Scandinavia book isn't republished every year.

Thank you for the TI (actually no-TI) info. We leave in a week and 2 days. We’re continuing on to Norway after Denmark, and with the Viking Ship Museum in Oslo currently closed, Roskilde is our only option this trip.
