Thumbs up to Brussels National & CDG Airports!

Recently flew into BRU on August 4 and returned from CDG ON August 11. I am pleased to report that both airports seemed to be back to normal and my experience was good. Arriving at BRU the line for passport control was long, which I anticipated since mine was the last of several transatlantic flights arriving within a short time period. However the booths were fully staffed and there were additional staff to help. I didn't have a checked bag, but passing through baggage claim it all appeared normal-no apparent chaos.
Leaving from CDG again everything seemed back to normal. There were the long lines that go with checking in for the transatlantic flights, but no longer or slower than in past trips. Got through security efficiently, not too long of a walk to the gate, and all was well. I did have checked luggage and it arrived with me via JFK to IND.

All flights were on Delta so I give them some credit also, but I was especially pleased to see both of these airports operating so well.

I am encouraged by this. We leave Sept 12 for Munich (transiting through Charlotte NC) and have been hoping they are getting a handle on all this. Our flights have changed 4 times, but so far the changes have been acceptable.
