Those Who have used the 2 for 1 with the Travelcard

I really just want to hear from those of you that have used the Travel card and the 2 for 1 vouchers. How did you find it went? Was it worth it, when you have to stand in line to get the other tickets or did you think it might have been better to buy tickets ahead of time...online and jump the line. Thanks.

I've used the 2 for 1 vouchers every time I've visited London, the most recent time being last July. We used them one day for the Tower of London and another day for Hampton Court Palace. It was definitely worth it - we saved probably 35 pounds total. We did not have to wait in line at all at either place, literally walked right up to the ticket window. We arrived at the Tower around 9:30 AM and Hampton around 10:00 AM. I think we maybe waited 2 minutes to buy the Travelcards at the train station - that was the longest wait.

I used the Travel Card and the 2 for 1 vouchers. It was great. Printed out 2 for 1 tickets of anything I might want to see at home. Took the tube from Heathrow to Marble Arch after purchasing a tube ticket at the airport. We didn't need the Travel Card for 3 days so just used an oyster card. Buses use up less and you see a lot more. Only thing about them is if it's rush hour they're a bad idea. Went to Victoria station and purchased the Travel Card. Just show your 2 for 1 at the ticket window when you purchase an entry ticket. Have rail card available (only showed it once). Used 2 for 1 at London Eye, Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace.

That's great. Did anyone try the 2 for 1 for any of the restaurants offering 2 for 1 ?
